1. SAY GOODBYE to the OLD MANOKAN COUNTRY (Relive old memories and good times)

Manokan Country has said farewell to its heydays. In the 1980s, the Bacolod Government built a complex in a once serene seaside area. The reclaimed land  soon became a magnet for people who wanted to eat at the various stalls. It was the birth of of the authentic Bacolod chicken inasal industry that would spawn a festival. However, as time moved on, the place was left unimproved and deteriorating. The Bacolod government is back once again not to demolish it but promised to modernize it with the help of an external partner. Facing many oppositions, the project stalled. Soon, the city government signed a Moa with SM to rehabilitate the place with modern structures. As the mall is just adjacent to the Manokan Country, the two will be a synergy of complexes and business opportunities:

Now, as the video below help you relive nostalgic times and unforgettable memories you spent on this aged structure, watch until the end as you will see the future and vision of the new Manokan Country.

2. WHEN NOODLE MAKING FEELS LIKE MAGIC (Amazing chef of Noodle Hauz in Manapla Food Park)

At the Manapla Food Park, one shop really stands out because of its chef creating authentic noodle soup from scratch. Yes, the talented noodle maker of Noodle Hauz does 'magic' in front of customers waiting for their fresh order of Chinese cuisines. We are amazed by his skills.
This video is proof that putting effort on your craft and providing a good tasting food will spread like wildfire through word of mouth and social media:

3. SWEET SURGE at MIREN

If you're in Bacolod City and looking for great-tasting cakes, then you have to head on to the North area, at the Bacolod Art District. You'll find a cozy dining called Miren where coffee is perfect to be partnered with their cakes. You know, you're truly in the Sugarbowl of the Philippines when you tried their sweet offerings. Miren Desserts cafe is located in Mandalagan, Art District, Bacolod City, Philippines

4. GARLIC MIXED SEA FOODS
at  Hunasan Restogrill and Bar

Mixed Seafoods became so popular in the Filipino food lingo. Mostly shells, it also has crustaceans like crabs and shrimps. All of these are mixed with corn, condiments and spices that make it tastier and worth it after seeking the meat from the shell. Cooking this cuisine is tricky as the shells are segregated and not taken out.
