Making the South of Bacolod alive and significant is Roy's Hotel and Convention Center. This new posh hotel has everything you ask for. Just as you enter the hotel, you will 'meet' some famous Cobonpue chairs in different colors longing for your attention. At the 3rd floor, it has a pool lounge and garden with a welcome arch that seems to be inspired by a MCU multiverse portal.

This picturesque area is not only instagrammable but also offers you amenities within reach. There are two swimming pool (adult and small kids), a children's plastic play place, gym, sky bar, meeting rooms, convention halls and a resto bar. Did we mention, the rooms are well-lit and wide?

2. The Iconic Chapel made of Farm Tools, Nature and Cart Wheels
The Chapel of Cartwheels started as a plan of the late Msgr. Gaston to have a place of worship for the workers of their hacienda, Hda, Rosalia in Manapla. His vision soon was realized but was surprised to see that as time went by, many people fell in love with its picturesque beauty.

Surprisingly, It became a tourist spot and a location shoot for some popular Filipino films just like the Gaston Mansion, a favorite of many filmmakers and movies like Oro, Plata Mata, In My Mother's Skin horror movie and maybe soon, the netlfix Filipino version of It's Ok Not to be Ok with Anne Curtis as the female love interest. You can see all over the place the creative wonders of Msgr. Gigi implemented. He repurposed unused farm implements. Not only the windows and walls are made of cartwheels, the altar and the chair is built from big boulders of rock. Indeed, every detail is a testament to Msgr. Gigi's genius and devotion to God. The passing of Msgr. Gigi was sad event to many but he left a lasting legacy that is the chapel. The Filipino version of It's OK Not to be OK starring Anne Curtis is currently being shot in Hda. Rosalia in Manapla town where the Chapel is located.
