Making the South of Bacolod alive and significant is Roy's Hotel and Convention Center. This new posh hotel has everything you ask for.
Just as you enter the hotel, you will 'meet' some famous Cobonpue chairs in different colors longing for your attention. At the 3rd floor, it has a pool lounge and garden with a welcome arch that seems to be  inspired by a MCU multiverse portal.

2. The Iconic Chapel made of Farm Tools, Nature and Cart Wheels

The Chapel of Cartwheels started as a plan of the late Msgr. Gaston to have a place of worship for the workers of their hacienda, Hda, Rosalia in Manapla. His vision soon was realized but was surprised to see that as time went by, many people fell in love with its picturesque beauty.

Surprisingly, It became a tourist spot and a location shoot for some popular Filipino films just like the Gaston Mansion, a favorite of many filmmakers and movies like Oro, Plata Mata, In My Mother's Skin horror movie and maybe soon, the netlfix Filipino version of It's Ok Not to be Ok with Anne Curtis as the female love interest. You can see all over the place the creative wonders of Msgr. Gigi  implemented. He repurposed unused farm implements. Not only the windows and walls are made of cartwheels, the altar and the chair is built from big boulders of rock. Indeed, every detail is a testament to Msgr. Gigi's genius and devotion to God. The passing of Msgr. Gigi was sad event to many but he left a lasting legacy that is the chapel

3. Day Trek to Mambukal's Multiple Waterfalls

We were privileged to trek the forest of Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary and got upclose with its beautiful and powerful waterfalls. Recently, the provincial government, which owns the place, closed the area for trekking because of large rocks endangering lives as these created landslides due to rain and mud. After an hour of traveling from Bacolod City to Minoyan, Murcia, where the resort is located, we were lucky that the place was still open to the public for hiking. Now the question is: Did we reach all of the Magnificent 7 (Seven waterfalls)? Well, our blog and youtube video will take you there and the end will surprise you. Now, let's chase some waterfalls  (READ)

4. Activity Guide to the Multi-Awarded Tourist Spot in Negros Occidental:
(WHAT TO DO at Campuestohan Highlands Resort)

Nestled in the mountains of Talisay, Campuestohan Highland Resorts redefine the resort recreation industry not only in Bacolod, but also in the neighboring cities and towns of Negros Occidental, a province in NIR.
It also helped reshaped the hotel and food industry which was trying to survive with the lack of tourist attractions in the province. When it came in fruition, many people went to experience its earlier concepts like the superhero statues, Kung Fu Panda characters and even Mickey Mouse. However, the resort owners decided that its better to make a drastic change, thus, it created waves again through its largest dinosaur replicas in Asia, wave pools, bike in the sky, and more. Soon, many will experience the biggest rooster chicken hotel that will be completed maybe this year at Campuestohan. The resort will also offer new water rides such as slide race activity, biggest in record too.
Here is a video guide of the usual activities in Campuestohan:

5. A Magical Breath-taking Landing
(POV: Mt. Mayon from Air to Ground)

Mt. Mayon's imposing perfect cone will really get your attention when you are flying from Manila to Bicol in Albay. This stratovolcano looks so fierce yet it takes your breath away especially when you see it on a sunset with its orange red hues while you land at the Bicol International Airport in Daraga. It makes your flight purely magical and travel more memorable.

5. The Hidden Bocal Bocal Springs

Up in the hinterlands of Bacolod, there is a mountain spring resort hidden in a canopy of trees. Called Bocal Bocal, it is named after the water source that provides continuous water flow to its two swimming pools: - an adult and kiddie pool - and drinking areas of the resort. It comes from a major artery of mountain water that give fresh water to the people below the mountain especially in the city. Bocal Bocal is a hiligaynon for Spring. This secluded mountain resort is a perfect picnic area for those who wanted a serene weekend with family or friends.
