OFW LIFE in Saudi Arabia

Welcome to our special page about the OFWs in Saudi Arabia. For those people who wanted to work in countries like KSA esp in its capital Riyadh, take a glimpse on what's life life for the overseas foreign workers there.

For those who went home for good back in the Philippines or transferred to other countries, here are some throwbacks of OFW life in Saudi Arabia. WATCH:

Traces of old Saudi lifestyle can be seen here as these were taken during the great transition of the Saudi society into an open one, where ladies can drive already, tourists can go freely without wearing abayas, and more.

Just like this video, we get to see the first-ever performance of a band in a mall in Al Batha area (Filipino market) where they get to sing freely (as religious police were already gone and made obsolete by the King and his son the Crowned Price Salman.

Life in Saudi Arabia is different from OFW to OFW. There are some who have good bosses and there are some expats who have dreadful sponsors. Some pinoys don't have weekends while others enjoy 1 or 2 days off. Indeed, it's a sacrifice when you are in the land far away from home, the Philippines. It's uo to you on how to lessen or eliminate homesickness. The best way is go out and go to the Pinoy market and you will feel light again, seeing other fellow OFWs strolling or eating at Pinoy restaurants like in the videos we've shared here above.
